Product Spotlight: Refine & Renew Duo Challenge!

It's been too long since I've touched on one of my favorite subjects: product! Today our topic is even more timely, as it includes a challenge for the New Year. This January I'll be taking the Refine & Renew challenge from Skin Script RX using the two products we are about to discuss. The Refine & Renew Duo is a powerhouse set featuring Raspberry Refining Scrub and Beta-Carotene Papain Renewal serum. Starting January 1st, I will be taking a before picture and starting on my new regime using the scrub several times weekly in the AM and apply the serum nightly. Skin Care Hacks for Glowing Holiday Skin

Originally published for the Denver Style Magazine blog, Dec. 3, 2016 The holidays are here! Tis the season for holiday shindigs and gatherings galore. With so much going on, it can get easy to neglect your skin, but you still want to look and feel your best before hitting the party scene. Here a few of my favorite skin care hacks, to keep you looking radiant into 2017. Exfoliation for the win If your skin is looking dull, often the culprit is a buildup of dry dead surface skin. I too, have fallen prey to this product in the past. It's an easy enough mistake to make. After all, we skin care folks are always preaching exfoliation. What could be more exfoliating that ru

There's a question I probably get asked more than any other question in my line of work. Everyone wants to know how often you need a facial. It's a excellent question that I've been meaning to address, so here goes! The simple answer is: every month. Now. Don't freak out. In a perfect world few of us can pull off getting a facial every single month, but bear with me, as I explain my reasoning. Then we'll talk more about options and how to maintain your skin health with facials, even if you can't swing monthly visits. The main reason for getting a facial every four weeks, is because this is the amount of time it typically takes your skin to complete its normal turnover cycle and regenerate. J
